Our Approach

We do not expect you to follow a very low calorie diet or one that imposes many restrictions. Our goal is to educate you on healthier eating habits. We are not the "food police." There are no foods that are completely off limits; we believe that all foods can be fit into a meal plan with moderation.

Labeling food as good/bad often sets one up for failure. You will work with your registered dietitian to set up individualized goals and a personalized meal plan consistent with your needs. We do encourage you to keep a food and activity log to help promote awareness of positives and negatives and help us fine tune your progress.

Also, we do not advocate dietary supplements or diet pills in our practice. A healthy diet contains all the nutrients your body needs without supplements or additives.
